Vic Larson was a senior writer and manager within a Fortune 100 in-house agency north of Chicago. He now splits his time between Morton, Illinois, the Pumpkin Capital of the World, and the hurricane-devastated remains of Port Charlotte, Florida on a canal frequented by manatees and alligators. He writes fiction, non-fiction, poetry, essays and maintains a large online portfolio of movie reviews at vixflixreview.com. His work has appeared in Beatdom, The Twin Bill, Existere, Months to Years, Valley Voices, Spill It and Between These Shores. He was the 2021 winner of the Gulf Coast Writers Association fiction contest.

Carl Boon is the author of the full-length collection Places & Names: Poems (The Nasiona Press, 2019). His writing has appeared in many journals and magazines, including Prairie Schooner, Posit, The Maine Review, and Washington Square Review. Much of his work is located at intersections of race and class in American history. He received his Ph.D. in Twentieth-Century American Literature from Ohio University in 2007 with a dissertation on the democratizing power of the work of Ron Silliman. He currently lives in Izmir, Turkey, where he teaches courses in American literature at Dokuz Eylül University.
